Apple is getting ready to launch a small-screen iPhone 12 next month with a 5.4-inch display which would be smaller than last year’s smallest iPhone.
An article published in MacRumors on Friday reported that the Apple was gearing up for launching the small-screen iPhone 12, amid anticipations for the launch of four new iPhones. This small-screen iPhone 12 is likely to be called iPhone 12 Mini, according to the article.

The article claimed the launching of iPhone 12 Mini based on a photo depicting alleged stickers from unreleased Silicone iPhone cases originating from Apple’s international distribution centre in Ireland.
The photo was shared by Twitter leaker DuanRui. Last month, the Twitter leaker DuanRui had shared photos of an iPad Air pamphlet depicting an all-screen display revealing three expected sizes of iPhone 12. The sizes included the 5.4-inch model being the iPhone 12 mini, the two 6.1-inch model being the “iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 Pro and the 6.7-inch model being the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
It is learnt that the devices would be the first iPhone with the mini brand which has been seen on the iPad mini, Mac mini and iPod mini.
It is expected that the cost of an upcoming iPhone 12 would be somewhere between USD 699 to USD 749 while the cost of iPhone 12 Max is expected to be around USD 799 to 849. Reportedly, these models would be featured with OLED displays and 5G support that will allow blazing fast download speeds.
9to5Mac – which covers news, reviews for Apple products, apps, and rumours – obtained a new video and unveiled the killer feature that could be meant for the iPhone 12.
9to5Mac claimed that the wireless charger designed specifically for the upcoming iPhone 12 family of smartphones was magnetic and it was combined with a disk-like shape.
An article published in the Telegraph stated that the new device iPhone 12 was expected with changes to Face ID, an improved camera and screen technology along with a much bigger battery.
